Tequila Basil Lime Shrimp Tacos
w/ Mango, Avocado, Sweet Tomato and Jicama Salad

Serves 2-3 | Prep Time: 11 Minutes | Cook Time: 6 Minutes

–Top with your favorite Jaimes Salsa and/or Queso Ingredients:

12oz peeled and deveined shrimp 2 pinches salt
3 dashes black pepper
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves minced garlic
2 tablespoons tequila
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 1/2 tablespoons basil
2 tablespoons diced mango
2 tablespoons diced avocado 2 tablespoons sweet tomatoes 1 1/2 tablesoons jicama

Dice your mango, avocado, sweet tomatoes and combine in a bowl with lime juice and a dash of salt. Set aside. Shred the jicama and set aside.

Season the cleaned shrimp with salt, pepper and paprika. Heat up a skillet to medium and add the olive oil. Add the garlic and saute a 30-45 seconds. Add the shrimp and continue to cook the shrimp until they turn slightly charred, flipping them once or twice only. Add the tequila gently as to avoid any splashing and toss the pan a few times. Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of lime juice and stir to combine everything well. Simmer for 30-45 seconds. Turn off the heat and add the basil.

Add your mango salad and shredded jicama for garnish. Serve on a fresh Corn or flour tortilla.

Finish off with any Jaimes Spanish Village Salsa and/or Queso.
